Design Consultations

A focused session offering guidance and advice to help kickstart your project.

The example above is a result of an in-person consultation where the client was looking to source key pieces for their space. We refined the aesthetic, sourced furnishings in real time, and wrapped the session with this curated moodboard—complete with shoppable links to bring the vision to life.

Not every project budget allows for full-service design—but that doesn’t mean you have to figure it all out alone.

Leah here! I created this service because I love helping clients get rapid results and actionable steps toward their dream space. Before starting my studio, I worked as a design consultant for a well-known semi-custom home builder, guiding homeowners through selecting all their finishes—from flooring and trim to faucets and doors—often in a single meeting. That experience trained me to quickly understand a client’s style and lifestyle, present curated options, and move through decisions with clarity and ease.

It’s incredibly rewarding to watch clients go from overwhelmed to inspired and confident, often in just one session. Whether you need help with finishes, furnishings, or layout, I’d love to support you in taking the next steps with clarity.

We offer two consultation options based on your location and the level of support you’re looking for. Check out our service areas below to learn more.

I’m looking forward to helping you bring your vision to life!

FAQ

  • Our process starts with a quick form where you can upload photos, floor plans, Pinterest boards—anything that helps us understand your space. The more info, the better! Leah will review everything in the 15 minutes prior to your consultation to make the most of your time together.

  • We aim for a productive, fast-paced session tailored to your needs. Here are some examples of what we can accomplish in an hour:

    • Select paint colours that complement your space

    • Provide recommendations for furniture, lighting, artwork and accessories

    • Improve your furniture layout for better flow and functionality

While we don’t provide technical drawings or floor plans as part of the consultation, we’re happy to review any existing ones. Leah may use imagery or quick sketches to help you visualize key recommendations.

  • One session is often all it takes to get the clarity and direction you need to start your project. If you’d like support at any point along the way, you’re always welcome to book another appointment.
